AUGMENTOR is a cutting-edge project that aims to revolutionize education by integrating emerging technologies into a novel pedagogical framework. The project will offer an AI-powered, open-access toolkit that leverages big data and learning analytics to provide personalized recommendations and support critical thinking. It combines advancements in Pedagogical Design, Creative Pedagogy, Explainable AI, and Knowledge Representation and Reasoning to foster collaboration and enhance trust and transparency in education. The solution will be deployed and validated in three real-world pilots to define best practices and help all stakeholders, from students to teachers and policymakers, reach their full potential.
Kaunas University of Technology is spearheading one pilot that involves conducting two intensive coding bootcamps, aimed at elevating a targeted group of 30-40 practitioners from EU civilian CSDP missions (Advisors, Monitors, Mentors) and civil society organizations including CSOs, NGOs, and watchdogs, to expert level.
