The project is intended to continue ongoing structural work of developing European Language Social Science Thesaurus (ELSST); both exploring and suggesting new and updated English terms and their places in the hierarchies, as well as co-ordinating and supporting the work of the translators, approving all updates and making regular releases of the content. The project aims among other things:
1. Define a CESSDA-wide policy regarding creation and maintenance of multilingual content.
2. Continue to extend the ELSST Thesaurus core terms.
3. Increase the number of languages that core terms are translated into.
4. Release core terms and translations.
150 new terms of the ELSST will be translated and adapted into Lithuanian and 150 of changes to the existing Lithuanian terms and note fields will be renewed.
