DeCrises aims to enhance democratic governance in Europe by supporting a just and inclusive twin transition through multilevel governance and community-led social innovation.?Our mission is to identify and address the institutional gaps in current multilevel governance (MLG) systems and promote citizen-driven approaches that empower communities.

By fostering social innovation, enhancing regional collaboration, and enabling meaningful participation at all levels – from local to EU-wide – DeCrises supports the development of resilient societies capable of navigating the complex challenges of environmental change, digitalisation, and crisis response.

Project results:

KTU researchers participating in the project will be responsible for researching civil society participation and its role in shaping and supporting a just green transition (digital and energy).
