Project description:

The COST Action CA24169 (SiDnet) addresses the need for advancing science diplomacy (SD), a multidisciplinary field at the intersection of science, technology, and diplomacy, to tackle pressing global issues and other pre-eminent geopolitical challenges. The main aim and objective of the SiDnet is to 1) How can SD foster globally accepted standards and governance frameworks for new technologies, balancing national sovereignty? 2) How can SD improve international cooperation to address global issues, prompting sustainable technologies and policies? 3) How can SD engage with international hegemons, emerging economies, and authoritarian states for addressing global crises?
