Project aims to investigate the social and spatial factors that determine the vulnerability and resilience of the Lithuanian population to crises and to strengthen the crisis response potential of communities through targeted awareness raising and action capacity building interventions. The project foresees following research at the Lithuanian level and at the level of local communities:(1) representative survey of Lithuanian population and expert survey for the identification of factors, determining level of societal resilience; (2) creation of socio-spatial resilience maps of Lithuania; (3) case studies of two different local communities at complex risk in Lithuania with piloting awareness raising and behavioral change scenarios; (4) co-creation of recommendations for building community resilience. Main practical results of the project: interactive open access application with the dashboard of socio-spatial vulnerability indicators in Lithuania; methodology for monitoring societal/community resilience; scenarios developed and piloted in two specific local communities in Lithuania for the response to potential crises; publication of recommendations.
