Opening of the Francophone Month
In the opening event the famous composer, KTU professor emeritus Giedrius Kuprevičius will deliver a lecture “Different Ravel” on the occasion of the 80th death anniversary of Maurice Ravel. Kaunas boys’ choir “Varpelis” will perform French music. Marie Sani, the advisor on collaboration and culture affairs at the Embassy of France in Lithuania and the director of French Institute in Lithuania will take part in the event.

Closing of the Francophone Month
The Ambassador of Greece in Lithuania Her Excellence Vassiliki Dicopoulou will deliver a lecture on human rights in Europe. His Excellency Ambassador of France Philippe Jeantaud wil be present in the event.
The Francophone Month will close with French songs by musician Vygantas Kazlauskas, accompanied by Tomas Varnagiris (guitar) and Tadas Motiečius (acordeon).
