The Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities at the Kaunas University of Technology is pleased to invite you to participate in the final event of the international project “Hackathon and Innovative Methodologies in Higher Education” – the hackathon “HACK-IT community of practice: innovative pedagogies for responsible education”, which will take place on November 21st, 2024, in Kaunas, Lithuania.
At the Hackathon, we will discuss the future of teaching in the context of global challenges. Experts from the University of Bologna, the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, the University of Gloucestershire, the University of Jyväskylä, the University of Cambridge, the University of Twente, and other European universities will share their experience of innovative teaching/learning methods. Using collective imagination, creativity, critical thinking and Responsible Futuring approach and storytelling, Challenge-based learning and other methodologies, we will discuss how to use didactic innovations in the field of education to foster graduates’ sense of responsibility and to promote their activism in tackling the challenges of society.
The Hackathon is open to Higher Education teachers, experts working in formal and non-formal education fields, and government representatives.
The Hackathon will allow you to learn more about the Hack-IT community of practice, which brings together educators from different countries and disciplines with the common goal of sharing professional experience, innovative didactic approaches, and improving the use of digital technologies in education.
