The project was aimed at investigating the character of Lithuanian party-interest group relationship, its causes and consequences on public policy decision-making.
The project investigated the nature of party-interest group relationships in Lithuania by answering the following questions: which interest groups are able to influence political parties and decision-making; what is an actual influence of interest groups to policy agenda setting and how their pressure translates both into agenda setting and decision-making; what is the frequency and the extent to which interest groups influence political parties and parliamentary working bodies; what channels of influence interest groups use vis-?-vis political parties.
